Setting Up a Scheduled Transfer
You can set up a one-time payment or create a recurring pattern in just a few steps.
Steps to be followed
Step 1: Start your transfer
Access Scheduled Transfers from the Main Menu (desktop) or Quick Actions (mobile). Then enter your recipient's information (or select someone from your saved list) and the amount you want to send.
Step 2: Pick your transfer date
Choose when you want the transfer to happen. You can schedule anything up to one year in advance.
Step 3: Choose your frequency
Decide how often the transfer should repeat:
- Never (default): happens once on your selected date
- Weekly: repeats every week on the same day
- Bi-weekly: repeats every two weeks on the same day
- Monthly: repeats on the same date each month
- Quarterly: repeats every three months on the same date
Step 4: Set an end date (recurring transfers only)
If you chose a recurring frequency, you must select when to stop these transfers. You need to provide an end date for any repeating pattern.
Step 5: Review and confirm
Double-check everything before confirming. You'll receive a confirmation once your transfer is scheduled.

How do dates and frequencies work together?
The date you select in the first field determines your repeat pattern. If you want transfers every Wednesday, just pick the next Wednesday as your start date, then select "Weekly" as the frequency. If you want transfers on the 15th of every month, select the 15th as your initial date, then choose "Monthly."
What happens if I schedule for the 29th, 30th, or 31st?
Some months don't have these dates (February is the obvious example, but April, June, September, and November don't have 31 days either). When your scheduled date doesn't exist in a particular month, your transfer automatically moves to the 1st of the next month.
For example, you schedule recurring transfers for the 31st of every month. In February (which only has 28 or 29 days), your transfer will process on March 1st instead.
Do holidays affect my scheduled transfers?
One-time transfers
If your date falls on a holiday in Canada or your recipient's country, you'll see an alert on the scheduling screen (but only if the holiday might delay delivery). You can adjust your date if needed.
Recurring transfers
If a recurring transfer lands on a holiday, we'll automatically adjust the delivery date. You won't see an alert in the app, but you'll receive an email explaining the holiday impact and any delivery changes.
What's the maximum time I can schedule ahead?
You can schedule transfers up to one year from today. Both one-time and recurring transfers follow the same limit. For recurring patterns, make sure your end date falls within one year of your start date.
Will I get reminders about my scheduled transfers?
Yes. We'll send you reminders to fund your transfer along with all important updates about your transaction status. You'll stay informed at every step.
