How can I cancel my transaction?

If you don't want to proceed with your transaction, you can cancel it from the "Transaction Details" screen by clicking on the red "Cancel" button at the bottom of the screen. If the transaction has not been processed yet, the funds will be automatically refunded to you.

Please note: If the transaction has already been processed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.

  1. Refund Process

Debit Card: Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days and will be returned to the same card you used for the payment. Since debit card payments are instant, there's a high chance the transaction will be processed within minutes, making cancellations and refunds not possible.

e-Transfer or Bill Payment: The funds will be returned to your RemitBee Balance once our team processes the refund. You can then withdraw the funds from your RemitBee Balance to your bank account for a small fee.

Direct Withdrawal (EFT): The EFT payments are submitted to your bank within a few minutes and cannot be cancelled after that. If you were able to cancel the transaction, the funds will not be taken from your bank account. In case your transaction fails and the refund is issued, the funds will be returned to your RemitBee Balance. You can then withdraw the funds from your RemitBee Balance to your bank account for a small fee.

  1. Limitations

If you have cancelled more than three transactions in a year, you won't be able to cancel transactions yourself. Instead, you can request a refund by clicking on the "Request Refund" button at the bottom of your Transaction Details screen. Our team will manually review your request.

Cancelling more than three transactions in a year could result in your RemitBee account being restricted.

Please note: No refund can be requested if the transaction has already been processed.
