How Airtel Money works
Airtel Money turns your mobile number into a digital wallet — no bank account needed. Users can access services via USSD code *110#, the AT Money app, or through Airtel agents.
You can send and receive money instantly, pay bills, buy airtime, and make merchant payments — all from your mobile wallet.
Cross-network transfers are supported — you can send or receive funds to/from other mobile money networks and use the E-zwich card integration for seamless banking operations.
To access physical cash, users must visit authorized AT Money agents (agencies) where they present their ID and wallet PIN to withdraw.

Why choose Airtel Money?
Airtel Money, the mobile money arm of Airtel Ghana, is one of the country’s most trusted digital payment platforms. Formed from the 2017 merger between Airtel Ghana, and now jointly operated with government ownership, Airtel Money provides fast, secure, and convenient mobile financial services accessible to everyone.
Airtel Money enables millions of Ghanaians to send and receive money, pay bills, buy airtime, and shop directly from their mobile phones. Its interoperability with other mobile money networks and the Ezwich card makes it one of the most flexible services in Ghana.
In a country where many people don’t have formal bank accounts, Airtel Money bridges the gap by offering safe and easy mobile transactions — from sending funds to paying bills, buying airtime, and shopping at merchants.
Backed by Airtel Africa’s multinational experience and a decade of proven service, Airtel Money combines global fintech expertise with local reliability to deliver a seamless mobile banking experience.
