Yogi Yoganathan

At the University of Waterloo, Yogi participated in the startup incubator Velocity, where he saw technology's transformative potential but identified a gap in addressing societal challenges. Motivated to make an impact, Yogi set out to disrupt the financial sector for underserved communities. After exploring e-wallets and blockchain, he found these solutions unsuitable for developing countries. Leveraging experience from his family's remittance business, Yogi and his co-founders created a digital remittance platform that improved efficiency and reduced fees. This venture evolved into RemitBee, a global fintech platform offering remittance, FX, and financial services.
