How to verify the Remitbee account?

Verification allows us to confirm your identity and helps with fraud reduction. We have three levels of verification. Choose your level of verification based on how much money you need to send.

Level One:

Verification Level one allows users to send up to $1000 CAD daily and $3000 CAD monthly.

You will need one of the following:

Proof of the birth date- Valid Canadian Issued ID

• Drivers License,
• Passport,
• Provincial ID,
• Permanent Resident Card
• Nexus Card
• Record of Landing etc.

Here’s how you get verified for level one:

1. Sign in and go to verification levels Click level one.
2. Click Start

3. Pick the government ID that you would like to use:

4. Upload a photo of your ID. Depending on ID type, front and back may be required. You can also choose to switch devices in case you need to take a picture or access the image elsewhere

5. Match your face with your ID. Give your browser access to the camera and follow the instructions on the screen. “Look slightly left and right”

6. Confirm, correct and add any contact information that is required.

7. Add your occupation

8. Step 8. Level 1 is complete

Level two:

You will need one of the following:

Proof of address

• Utility Bills
• Phone Bill
• Hydro Bill, Gas Bill etc.
• Drivers License,

Proof of bank account

• Bank Statement -
• Chequing Account,
• Loan Statement,
• Credit Card Statement)

Verification Level 2

If you need to send more money then you need to complete level 2 verification. This will allow you to send up $3000 CAD daily and 25K monthly.

1. Upload proof of address. Pick from the options below.

2. Our team will review your document and you will be verified within 24 hours.

Level 3 verification

If you need to send more than level 2 allows for you can verify for level 3. This will allow you to send $9000 CAD daily and $50K monthly

1. Make sure your device allows the camera to be accessed. Then Start your recording. Follow the instructions below:

2. Our team will review your video in 24 hours and you will then be verified for level 3.

Verifying level 4

For those that need to send over 50K monthly there is level 4. In order to meet the criteria for this level you must:

• Complete verification 3
• Account must be older than 3 months
• Have a minimum of two completed transactions
• Fill out a short questionnaire
