In 1878, a group of clergymen led by Reverend G.W. Downer, rector of Kingston Parish Church, established the Victoria Mutual Building Society(VMBS). Its principal objective was to assist Jamaican citizens with money management so they could someday purchase homes.

How long does it take to send money, and should I only send it during working hours?

According to the country you are sending it to. While sending to India only takes a few minutes, it can take 1-3 business days for Jamaica.

You can send money at any time with RemitBee. However, the recipient’s bank transfers the funds to the beneficiary during regular business hours at the bank. Incorrect recipient information or a lack of relevant documentation for verification could result in delays.

Can I cancel my order?

Customers could cancel their orders with RemitBee if the transfer did not go through. Once you start a transfer, you only have 10 minutes to cancel it because our orders finish in that period. Select the Transaction History tab to cancel a transaction and click the desired transaction.

After successfully canceling your order, RemitBee will take 3–4 working days to issue a refund.
