The Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), a division of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), founded Tamweel Africa Holding (TAH) SA in 2009. Through a network of influential Islamic Banks, it seeks to make Islamic Finance a contributor to socio-economic development in sub-Saharan Africa.
