How can I verify my Remitbee account?

To prevent fraudulent activities and ensure that your money and personal data are safe, each Remitbee customer needs to complete a one-time verification process.

Remember, you need to verify your account just once! As soon as verification is completed, you will be able to send money in a matter of a few clicks.

The process is very simple and could be performed in two ways.

First way is simply to send your first transfer and follow our instructions:

  1. During your first transaction we will ask you to provide some personal data – first and last name, residential address and occupation.
  2. At the end of your transfer, overview all the details and confirm your transfer.
  3. After that you will see a message where we will ask you to upload documents to complete your verification. Click on the button and follow the instructions.

Your transfer will be pending until your documents are verified (usually takes up to 24 hrs). Once they are verified, your money transfer will be released and delivered automatically. We will send you a notification and email during each step of this process to keep you updated.

  1. Next, you will be transferred to the Verification Level 2 screen. To complete your verification, follow instructions provided on the page, and verify your address and bank account or your date or birth and bank account. There are many options of documents you may submit listed below for this purpose

Proof of address

  • Utility Bills
  • Phone Bill,
  • Hydro Bill
  • Gas Bill etc.
  • Drivers License

Proof of bank account

  • Bank Statement -
  • Chequing Account,
  • Loan Statement,
  • Credit Card Statement)

Proof of the birth date- Valid Canadian Issued ID

  1. After you upload each of them, our agents will manually verify them within the next 24 hrs, and your transaction will be released automatically.

Second way to verify your account is to go directly to the verification page, and complete Level 1 and Level 2 verification. (insert the links to the verification screen) Level 2 verification will allow you to send up to 3000 CAD per day or up to 25000 CAD per month.

To complete the verification, follow these instructions:

  1. From the dashboard, click on the account menu on the top right corner of the page. Small secondary menu should open.
  2. Here you need to find the “Verifications and Limits” tab and click on it.
  3. Next, you will see the verification menu with different levels of verification and sending limits. We recommend completing Level 1 and Level 2 verification for most of our users.
  4. Click the Level 1 button. By this time, you already had a chance to verify your phone number and email address during the registration. If for some reasons you were not able to do that, you can click on the special button in each section and verify everything right away.
  5. After that, you just need to provide us with your personal information – first and last name, residential address, industry and occupation.
  6. As soon as you fill all personal information, verified email and phone number, your Level 1 verification is successfully completed, and you can move to Level 2.
  7. For level 2 you need to verify your address and bank account or your date of birth and bank account. There are many options of documents you may submit listed below for this purpose
