Toronto, ON – March 12, 2025 – RemitBee, a fintech company based in Mississauga, is excited to announce a new partnership with SickKids Foundation in a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative to support children's health. As part of the initiative, RemitBee will donate a portion of its earnings from all transfers made between March 12 to April 12, 2025 to SickKids Foundation.

RemitBee is proud to join the effort to improve the lives of children by funding critical care, medical equipment, and research at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). The fundraiser will coincide with the holy month of Ramadan, a time of giving and reflection for many, and is designed to raise both awareness and funds for children in need of medical care.

“We are honored to partner with SickKids Foundation, an organization that provides world-class health care to children in Toronto and around the world,” said Yogi Yoganathan, CEO at RemitBee. “Ramadan is a time for reflection, charity, and giving back, and this initiative allows our customers to make a difference while using our service to send money internationally.”

SickKids Foundation has been an essential force in advancing paediatric health care, and the funds raised from this initiative will support initiatives such as purchasing life-saving medical equipment and funding paediatric research. These efforts have made it possible for SickKids to provide the best care, leveraging the latest advancements in science and technology to support young patients.

“We are incredibly grateful to RemitBee for their support and generosity,” said Diane Armes-Redrupp, Associate Director of Corporate Partnerships at SickKids Foundation. “Because of the support SickKids receives from community initiatives like this, important advances such as the purchase of new life-saving medical equipment can be made.”

For every money transfer made via RemitBee between March 12 and April 12, a portion of the transaction will be donated to SickKids Foundation. The initiative not only highlights RemitBee’s commitment to social responsibility but also ensures that SickKids can continue to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in need.

“We hope the community will support this initiative and make it a great success,” added Armes-Redrupp. “Your commitment will make a real difference in the lives of children today and for generations to come.”
